Opening Year: A Glimpse of China · Everyday New Jianghuai | Fuyang Smart Manufacturing: ZoneCharge’s Wireless Charging Landscape
On the morning of September 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., the media delegation of the "Opening Year: A Glimpse of China · Everyday New Jianghuai" campaign visited ZoneCharge (Fuyang) Technology Co., Ltd. The team, comprising representatives from central and provincial mainstream online media as well as influential industry bloggers, conducted an onsite investigation of the company’s R&D achievements and industrial deployment in wireless power supply. Dr. Li Linghan, Chairman of the Board, and Xu Xiangdong, Vice Chairman, led the core technical and management teams throughout the visit, briefing the delegation in detail on the company’s development plans, technological progress, and market accomplishments.
The visit lasted nearly one hour. The media team toured the corporate exhibition hall and the production workshop, observing, asking questions, and systematically learning about the core principles of ZoneCharge’s coupled magnetic resonance wireless power transfer technology, its full product portfolio, and its practical applications across multiple industries.
Inside the Exhibition Hall: When Power Cables "Disappear"
In the exhibition hall, the media showed keen interest in the explosionproof wireless charging modules and the "cordless kitchen". The onsite demonstration of the "cordless kitchen" was eyecatching: not a single power cord was visible on the countertop, yet appliances such as blenders and rice cookers started working as soon as they were placed on it. The secret behind making cables "disappear" lies in the magnetic resonance wireless power supply devices hidden beneath the mat and the countertop.
Dr. Li Linghan explained to the media the technical principles and application scenarios of wireless charging. Unlike the shortrange wireless charging commonly used for mobile phones, ZoneCharge focuses on mediumtohighpower wireless power supply for robots, industrial automation, and similar scenarios. The company specialises in the R&D and industrial application of coupled magnetic resonance wireless power transfer technology. Its equipment can achieve conversion efficiencies exceeding 92% within a distance of 10 centimetres, with transmission power reaching over 20 kilowatts
Inside the Workshop: From ExplosionProof Modules to "Charge on Kickstand"
The delegation then moved to the production workshop, where they observed the full assembly process of explosionproof wireless charging modules. At the testing area for electricscooter kickstand wireless charging piles, the group paused to watch the product testing and inquired in detail about the structural design. Dr. Li Linghan explained on site that these kickstand charging piles enable alignment through the vehicle’s kickstand, eliminating the need for manual plugin charging. Suitable for centralised parking areas for electric motorcycles in communities and industrial parks, the solution significantly reduces the operational threshold for daily charging and minimises the risk of interface wear.
InDepth Dialogue: Deconstructing the Logic of Localised Innovation in Wireless Power Supply
During the exchange session following the tour, the media team engaged in an indepth dialogue with the company’s management and frontline engineers on core topics of industry interest.
Regarding the question "Why relocate the core production base from Shenzhen to Fuyang?", Dr. Li Linghan stated that this was a strategic decision made after careful consideration. The primary goals were to get closer to the core East China market and optimise overall supplychain costs. At the same time, the relocation received strong support from the local Fuyang government in terms of industrial supporting facilities and essential resources, laying a solid foundation for largescale production.
When asked about the differentiated advantages of wireless charging over traditional wired charging, Dr. Li Linghan explained that customers choose wireless power solutions for two main reasons: first, to enable fully autonomous, unmanned operation of robots and automatic sorting equipment, allowing charging without human intervention; second, to meet the stringent requirements of explosionproof environments—the contactless power supply eliminates the risk of electrical sparks from the outset, significantly enhancing safety in hazardous areas.
Regarding the newly launched dynamic wireless power supply system, Dr. Li Linghan revealed that it has already been deployed in the logistics sorting industry, replacing the traditional slidewire power supply on sorting equipment, which is prone to wear. The contactless transmission eliminates physical friction losses and the need for frequent maintenance. The system is now operating stably on 22 production lines across the country, serving major customers including SF Express, JD.com, China Post, and Baosteel.
Good Products Are "Made" — and Also "Retained"
During the visit, frontline engineers from the company also gave interviews to the media. Du Xudong, a process engineer, introduced that in order to continuously reduce the defect rate in production, the team has designed customised fixtures and tooling, compiled standardised SOP work instructions, and incorporated mistakeproofing (PokaYoke) features into the manufacturing process. These measures help minimise material waste and operator errors. For processes that heavily rely on manual operations, such as adhesive dispensing, the company provides specialised training and assigns dedicated personnel to inspect the work quality. As a result, product consistency has been significantly improved, and the massproduction yield rate has been steadily optimised.
Wang Zheng, a R&D engineer and a 2024 master’s graduate from Fuyang Normal University, shared his experience of choosing to work in his hometown. He said: "In previous years, there were few hightech enterprises in Fuyang, and it was difficult for engineering graduates to find wellpaid jobs that matched their majors. In recent years, the city’s industrial environment has improved markedly. Now, fresh graduates like us can find quality positions right at our doorstep that match our professional skills, so naturally we prefer to stay and develop our careers here."
This media visit gave the public a clear view of ZoneCharge’s strategic transformation from "Shenzhen R&D" to "Fuyang Smart Manufacturing". It also showcased the new development landscape of cities in northern Anhui Province, which are attracting young talent back home and driving industrial upgrading by fostering hightech industrial clusters. Looking ahead, ZoneCharge will continue to focus on scenariobased innovation in wireless power technology, further expand its scalable production capacity, and provide highly reliable contactless power supply solutions for more industries.
