On the morning of May 7, 2025, the opening ceremony of the Anhui Province Academician Workstation for "Sustainable and Double Carbon Technology" was held in the 501 Lecture Hall of Building No.3 at China Sound Valley in Hefei High-tech Zone. This work is jointly built by the Smart City (Hefei) Standardization Research Institute Co., Ltd. and the team of Professor Zhou Weisheng, a foreign academician the Japanese Academy of Engineering. Officials such as Wang Mengzhong, a secondary inspector of the Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Department, and Luo Yuneng, the mayor of Hefei, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Dr. Li Linghan, the chairman of ZoneCharge Technology., Ltd., as one of the core participating units of the academician workstation, was invited to attend the unveiling ceremony.
