On the morning of May 7, 2025, the opening ceremony of the Anhui Province Academician Workstation for "Sustainable and Double Carbon Technology" was held in the 501 Lecture Hall of Building No.3 at China Sound Valley in Hefei High-tech Zone. This work is jointly built by the Smart City (Hefei) Standardization Research Institute Co., Ltd. and the team of Professor Zhou Weisheng, a foreign academician the Japanese Academy of Engineering. Officials such as Wang Mengzhong, a secondary inspector of the Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Department, and Luo Yuneng, the mayor of Hefei, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Dr. Li Linghan, the chairman of ZoneCharge Technology., Ltd., as one of the core participating units of the academician workstation, was invited to attend the unveiling ceremony.

The establishment of the workstation strictly follows the requirements of the "Anhui Province Academician Workstation Management Measures", aiming to focus on the integration of "double carbon technology" and smart city construction. According to the information disclosed at the unveiling ceremony, the workstation will focus on the research of "digital space model, "urban system simulation", "double carbon technology international standardization" and other topics, and plans to cooperate with enterprises such as ZoneCharge promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and help the development of green and low-carbon industries in Anhui Province.

The first seminar of the Anhui Province Academician Workstation on "Sustainable Cities and Double Carbon Technology" was also successfully held at the China Sound in Hefei High-tech Zone that afternoon. This seminar brought together experts and scholars from domestic and foreign universities, research institutions, and leading industry enterprises, engaging in in- discussions on smart cities and double carbon technology. Professor Zhou Weisheng is currently a Distinguished Professor at Ritsumeikan University, Japan, and a Visiting Professor at Kyoto University He has been committed to the research of environmental economic policies and sustainable development for a long time. His academic contributions include:

In the technology exhibition hall, Dr. Li Linghan focused on demonstrating to Academician Zhou and his party the application scenarios of the company's magnetic wireless power supply technology in various fields. The wireless power supply technology of Zhonghui Chuangzhi breaks the shackles of traditional cables and achieves wireless power of kilowatts level power through magnetic resonance coupling technology, with a transmission efficiency of more than 92%, which has been successfully applied in urban traffic, urban logistics dynamic supply, intelligent manufacturing, and tailless kitchen electrical appliances and other fields.

Professor Zhou Weisheng pointed out: "The wireless power supply technology of Zhonghui Chuangzhi provides a new idea for solving the problems of urban infrastructure. The workstation will support its technology optimization and scenario verification."

The establishment of the Anhui Province Academy of Sciences Workstation for "Sustainable Development and Double Carbon Technology" marks a key step for the Hefei City Standardization Research Institute in the field of industry-academia-research collaborative innovation.
